In the 21st century, they not only have the function of illuminating the interiors of buildings, but, above all, save energy and significantly reduce costs. At present, they are a very specialized product that mainly affects the quality of use of the window joinery, not only because of their surface (on average they occupy about 70% of the window surface), but also because of the functions they perform. Glazing is an acoustic and anti-burglary barrier, protects rooms from the sun, wind, rain, while performing decorative functions. Thus they affect the well-being of household members, increasing the comfort of work and life.

Roto NX is an innovative Tilt&Turn fittings system in terms of profitability, safety, comfort and design. It was created on the basis of the well-known Roto NT fittings.

Future-proof fittings for PVC, wood and aluminum windows with a 16 mm fitting groove, for sashes weighing up to 150 kg, offer tangible benefits to users.

Comfort of use:

Technical solutions of Roto NX fittings enable protection of the sash against direct opening, which is dangerous, e.g. for small children. Turning the cylindrical handle by 90 degrees causes the door to move to the tilt position. This is an ideal solution for a children’s room, where little explorers of the world can unintentionally open the window on their own. Only using the key in the handle and releasing the opening locking mechanism will the window be able to be opened.

Roto NX fittings also work great in offices. Due to the possibility of placing the handle in the lower part of the sash, they allow you to open the window without having to turn the handle located in the middle of the sash. This solution is also very helpful for people with limited mobility, for whom conventional windows have handles at a height that prevents comfortable use.

The Roto NX system can be equipped with a magnetic latch for balcony doors, which allows you to gently close the door without the need to use the fitting mechanism. This is a very convenient solution that prevents the curtain from getting caught, e.g. under the influence of a strong, uncontrolled gust of wind, thus protecting it against destruction.

The brake in the fittings makes it possible to lock the sash in a fixed position after turning the handle when the sash is open, which limits the possibility of moving the sash, e.g. due to a gust of wind.

Security:

New TiltSafe elements provide better anti-burglary protection – now even in the tilted position (anti-burglary class RC2). It is also safer to use the fittings themselves. It can be used, for example, for sashes with higher load-bearing capacity and is already standard.

The intelligent design of the fitting ensures an increase in the anti-burglary class of the window by replacing only the catches, without the need to completely replace the fitting. The Roto NX system also offers retrofitting of ready-made windows to higher classes. Steel hook bolts, counter-rotating hook lock, and anti-burglary handles prevent attempts to move the fittings around the perimeter of the door frame.

GU SECURY Automatic-DR

The GU SECURY Automatic-DR multi-point lock combines security and convenience. This lock is a combination of an automatic latch and a hook bolt, which automatically lock into each other to ensure trouble-free and secure closing and opening of single and double-leaf residential and commercial doors in all profiles. The GU SECURY Automatic-DR system is compatible with SECUREconnect for easy integration into the GU home door package. The door can be opened by scanning a fingerprint or entering the corresponding code on the keypad.

Mechatronic locks

With a mechatronic lock, the door locks automatically when closing. The lock latch is transformed into a bolt (ratchet) and the locking is activated by a lever integrated in the ratchet. The lock only engages when the final closing position is reached, which prevents malfunctions. Thanks to the additional panic function, the door can be opened from the inside at any time by pressing the handle or the panic lever.

Electrically operated door openers

A door opener is an electrical device mounted in the door frame that allows electromagnetic unlocking of the lock latches, controlled by remote control. It is often combined with intercoms or surveillance cameras to allow a person’s identity to be checked before the door is opened. Door openers are most commonly used on the front doors of multi-family houses, commercial buildings, doctors’ offices and businesses.

What exactly are pressure diffusers?

Pressure air vents – self-regulating, consequences resulting from the difference in pressure outside and inside the room. As the pressure increases, the air inflow increases. Each air vent, in order to be included in this group of necessity, must have a blockage in the hood or air vent which, at a given efficiency, cannot be removed as a result of, for example, a strong gust of wind. Pressure diffusers can be additionally equipped with a manual lock limiting the current flow to a minimum.
