Thermal insulation
Uw < 0,8 W/m2K
Genesis 90 windows, based on Aliplast’s three-chamber aluminium system, not only meet but exceed the requirements of the Passive House Certificate, offering a thermal insulation value of Uw below 0.8 W/m2K. The system uses a chambered thermal break of an impressive 55 mm in height, made from a material characterised by increased thermal insulation. In addition, the central gasket comes in two versions: standard and with an XPET thermal insert, which provides additional thermal protection. Aesthetics and functionality go hand in hand here – slim profiles with 15 mm high glazing bars give Genesis 90 windows an elegant appearance, while providing excellent thermal insulation. The system also offers a wide range of frame, sash and mullion profiles to suit the static requirements, making them ideal for a variety of architectural designs. Also surprising is the maximum height of the window sashes of up to 3 metres, with an equally impressive maximum sash weight of up to 180 kg. This means that even large, panoramic windows can be easily and seamlessly realised using the Genesis 90 system.
